2. collection and storage of personal data

 

2.1 Automatic collection of access data

We automatically collect data when you visit our platform:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
  • Internet service provider of the user

This data is stored in log files and deleted at the latest after 90 days automatically deleted.

 

2.2 Collection of personal data through registration and use of the platform

We collect data when you register and use Eduvaro:

  • Name and e-mail address
  • User name and password
  • Course progress and learning activities
  • Communication with our support team

 

2.3 No processing of payment data by Eduvaro

Eduvaro does not process any payment data. Payment processing takes place exclusively via external payment service providers such as:

  • PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.)
  • Stripe (Stripe, Inc.)
  • Digistore24 (Digistore24 GmbH)

We only receive confirmation from these providers as to whether a payment has been successfully completed.
Data processing is subject to the data protection provisions of the respective providers.

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Provision of the learning platform and activation of booked courses
  • User account management
  • Technical optimisation and troubleshooting
  • Improvement of the learning platform through analysis of user behaviour
  • Customer communication (support enquiries, information on courses)

Personal data will only be passed on if this is absolutely necessary:

  • Hosting service provider (for the provision of the platform)
  • Payment service provider (for payment processing, no storage of payment data at Eduvaro)
  • IT service provider (e.g. for error analysis)
  • Authorities and courts, insofar as a legal obligation exists

 

6 Storage period and deletion of data

Data is only stored for as long as it is required for the respective purpose:

  • Access data: As long as the user account is active
  • Course progress: As long as the user account is active
  • Support requests: Up to 2 years after the last request
  • Log file data: 90 days
  • Invoice and contract data: 10 years (statutory retention obligation)
